It's about never standing still and finding new ways to maintain The Queen's presence in the public eye and on the world stage. This is what makes working for the Royal Household exceptional.

The role of Royal Communications is to engage a worldwide audience with the public role and work of The Royal Family. Joining this fast paced and dynamic team, your challenge will be to lead on and develop our digital communications strategy, and ensure that we make effective use of a range of digital platforms to support these aims.

You’ll provide digital and editorial leadership to a small team of digital media specialists, drive the content strategy of our newly launched website, and work with colleagues across the organisation to continuously improve our digital presence.

Whether you're covering a state visit, award ceremony or royal engagement, you'll make sure our digital channels consistently spark interest and reach a range of audiences.

With an eye to the future, you'll work to hone and shape our digital communications through sharing best practice, understanding new technologies and stimulating creativity.

The reaction to our work is always high-profile, and so reputation, brand and impact will be at the forefront of all you do. And having your work shared around the world will be the biggest reward.

With experience of managing and editing high profile websites, social media and other digital formats, you’re the expert we need.

You'll be knowledgeable when it comes to best practice in all matters regarding digital communication, including marketing management and latest technical developments.

In a fast-paced and deadline driven environment, you'll be comfortable developing strategy and managing wide-reaching projects, while overseeing and helping deliver our day-to-day digital output.

Having managed social media networks for a high profile organisation, you'll have an understanding of how to maximise their benefits and minimise any risks.

You'll be confident using a range of content management systems, social media platforms and analytics tools. A solid understanding of the technical aspects of digital platforms and channels is desirable, as well as an understanding of html and experience of improving the usability of digital products.

Innovative and with creative flair, you'll have exemplary and compelling writing and editorial skills, and expertise in designing digital content for different audience groups, purposes and formats.

A natural communicator, influential and with a genuine user focus, you'll liaise with a broad spectrum of stakeholders on a daily basis and will drive change through collaboration.

What's more, with experience of people management, you'll know how to lead, develop and inspire others.

This is your opportunity to use your digital expertise to deliver the exceptional.

You can look forward to a comprehensive benefits package, including a 15% employer contribution pension scheme, 33 days annual leave, including bank holidays, free lunch and access to training and development to support your continuous professional development.
