Full time, 37.5 per week on average, this role involves working flexibly to cover operations, including out of office hours.

In this role you’ll join the The Queen’s Helicopter Flight team, consisting of a number of pilots and ground support who provide the highest standard of helicopter service.

Working alongside another Operations Officer, you’ll provide all the necessary information, organisation and communications for the delivery of daily operations.

You'll monitor the progress of each flight, ensuring all sites have been surveyed and overseeing schedule arrangements. You’ll also ensure highly effective safety management is in place at all times.

You’ll liaise regularly with security agencies, airports, engineering contractors and other organisations involved in the planning and preparation of flights.

As the main point of contact for all operational matters, you’ll play an integral role providing excellent support to the wider team.

With excellent organisational skills and significant experience in an administrative role, preferably in an air operations environment, you’ll be confident co-ordinating a busy daily schedule.

You’ll also have good IT skills and experience of working with Safety Management Systems.

You'll possess excellent attention to detail which will equip you to plan complex itineraries. Along with a proactive and flexible approach, you’ll be able to adapt to a busy and varied workload.

With excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you’ll be a natural team player.
