It's knowing your efficiency is driving sales on the shop floor

It's being trusted to deliver. And it's helping the public engage with and enjoy a unique history. This is what makes the working for Royal Collection Trust exceptional.

Royal Collection Trust's Retail team operate shops at Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle and the Palace of Holyroodhouse, as well as a growing online presence. Our range is as varied as our international customer base. But whether it’s a pencil, piece of jewellery or limited edition teacup, everything is of the absolute highest quality.

You'll join the team based at our Stoke-on-Trent office, which is where our China and Glassware products are made. In a new role, you'll support the design, development and planning of the production of items.

By providing vital admin and logistical support to the team, you'll gain insight into many stages of the product cycle. You'll help place and oversee regular orders of stock, packaging and gift boxes, bringing all the components of a product together, ready to send out to our shops.

You'll also learn how to monitor stock effectively, ensuring that we can fulfill orders and forecast future demand, especially important for our limited edition chinaware ranges.

You'll help ensure that delivery deadlines are met, and that our shops are always fully stocked. As a key point of contact, you'll handle a variety of queries for the team, and support the Head of Central Retail and Buyer directly, stretching your knowledge further.

It's a fast paced environment and the deadlines will be tight. But knowing you play an integral part in delivering an exceptional retail service will motivate you to meet the challenge.

With a relevant degree or equivalent experience, you’ll already have some experience of working in a retail product development based role.

It’s important that you’re confident working with numbers, and also that you have strong IT skills and can use MS Office programs and database systems.

With a keen eye for detail and excellent administration skills, you'll be able to process large volumes of work with complete accuracy.

You'll also be highly organised, able to plan and prioritise your time effectively to meet multiple deadlines.

As a good communicator, you’ll build a good rapport with colleagues and customers alike.

And as an excellent team player with a proactive attitude, you'll be eager to help colleagues and take on any challenge, learning new skills along the way.
