The size, complexity and heritage of the Royal Household and its residences present some fascinating, and often unique, challenges.

Leading a committed and well established team of professionals, of around 30 in size, you’ll motivate and develop those around you to deliver exceptional results and drive continuous improvement. You’ll do this by setting strategic aims, ensuring they are not only achieved but surpassed.

Engaging with both internal and external stakeholders, you'll present the progress of the team to board level, lead the way to ensure continued development and understanding of risks, while also looking ahead and implementing future changes in statutory and legislative requirements.

With a customer focused and cost effective approach, you’ll lead by example and set the highest standards across the Household.

As a senior manager, you’ll have a real impact here, creating a sustainable and safe future for our historic buildings.

Additional qualifications, understanding and experience in managing fire safety are desirable.

Your collective experience demonstrates an excellent ability to balance strategic and operational priorities, and you’ll know when to delve into the detail or when to retain a wider perspective.

Outstanding leadership will be vital in this role. Alongside steering operational priorities for the teams, you’ll be confident managing performance, leading on change as well as motivating and developing those around you.

You also have a strong understanding of budget and resource management, with a proven ability to ensure value for money.

Adept at managing stakeholder relationships, you'll combine strong interpersonal skills with your expertise to become a truly trusted advisor to the organisation.

Above all, you'll have customer focus in all you do. This, with a proactive approach will ensure you'll lead the team in delivering results.
