The Central Chancery of the Orders of Knighthood (CCOK) handles the administration of the Orders of Chivalry, organising Investitures, Services and the distribution of British Insignia awarded by The Queen throughout the world.

You'll be responsible for administering the accounts for the Orders of Chivalry. You’ll maintain the accounts and prepare reports and balance sheets, providing vital support to the busy operations of the CCOK.

A key point of contact, you’ll liaise with colleagues as well as external organisations and official bodies handling varied queries. You’ll also assist with the Orders of Chivalry administration, playing your part in delivering these highly valued honours.

From day one you’ll have responsibility for your own workload, and you’ll be encouraged to look for new ways to develop our processes and day-to-day operations.

With a good working knowledge of accounting procedures, you’ll already have some experience in accounting or bookkeeping alongside sound computer and literacy skills.

Your excellent communication skills mean you're able to build positive working relationships, and your flexible approach means you’ll be at ease working as part of a team.

Organised, logical and methodical, you're used to prioritising your time effectively to meet tight deadlines.

Additionally you’ll ideally be studying for a professional accountancy qualification.

What's more, with your proactive approach you will enjoy identifying ways to improve and streamline processes, especially with IT and online technologies.

And in all that you do, you'll carry out your work to the highest standards.
