It's providing new skills whilst surrounded by an inspiring past

It's the remarkable diversity of the people you'll work with. And it's joining the professional business behind the monarchy. This is what makes working for the Royal Household exceptional.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a small but dynamic team, responsible for providing IT training to over 1600 users.

Your challenge will be to support and promote the continued development of IT capability across the organisation.

From group based training to one-to-one sessions, and using a range of training materials and techniques, you'll develop and deliver a variety of courses for employees across this diverse organisation.

You'll carry out regular induction training, making sure that every new employee is properly equipped and trained to use the IT systems.

You'll also provide second line support for the IT Helpdesk, promoting a culture of technical competency.

Keeping training records up-to-date will be important, and by collecting feedback from colleagues, you'll monitor successes and identify improvements for the future.

With experience in the delivery of IT training courses, you're a confident and professional communicator, who feels at ease liaising with individuals at all levels.

You already possess advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office 2010 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Microsoft Windows 7 & 8, and you'll be able to pass on your knowledge to people with varying IT competency.

Proactive and customer focused in your approach, you'll be keen to develop training that meets the needs users as well as training targets.

Experience of Training Needs Analysis and knowledge of database systems would be helpful, but it's your ability to quickly learn new software packages that will be a real asset.

And, with a naturally collaborative style, you're able to work independently, but also as part of a small, supportive team.
