The Royal Household is placing environmental sustainability at the very forefront of all we do. Joining our Sustainability team, you’ll focus on the organisation’s environmental targets, helping to enact change internally and meet our sustainability goals.
Working alongside the Head of Sustainability, as well as financial reporting colleagues, you’ll provide carbon footprint data tracking, reports, and work to improve data accuracy for all company emissions. Whilst the key focus of the role will initially be on our GHG emissions, this will likely expand to other environmental, social and governance initiatives which you’ll help drive forward.
Helping to set realistic KPIs will enable us to track meaningful progress, you’ll create a standardised set of reports that are accurate, transparent and compliant with mandated regulatory bodies.
Working in a historic setting can bring its unique challenges, but you’ll relish the opportunity to meet our ambitious targets. You’ll use your expertise to engage colleagues across the whole of the organisation and help raise awareness of environmental issues, gaining their full support to make significant changes.
With extensive experience and understanding off sustainability issues and demonstrated experience in GHG emission reporting, decarbonisation and net zero strategy setting – you’ll be an expert in your field.
Fully confident in your reporting and data analytics skills, with experience using tools such as Power BI, you’ll be able to steer the way we use data.
You’ll also be experienced in creating reports and presenting complex information in a variety of ways, to a suit a range of audiences.
A natural communicator and collaborator, used to partnering senior managers to influence, appropriately challenge and advise, you'll hit the ground running and build credibility at all levels.
Highly organised, self-sufficient and results driven, you'll be able to independently co-ordinate your varied workload to support across projects and meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
What’s more, you’ll continue to monitor emerging trends and best practice in the field, ensuring you’re our subject matter expert in this area.
Above all, you'll have a pro-active and flexible attitude, and enjoy sharing your passion with teams across the organisation.
