It's supporting the team who bring people closer to history

It’s an experience like no other. And it’s the satisfaction of interpreting and presenting one of the world’s greatest art collections. This is what makes working for Royal Collection Trust so different.

Unique in both quality and diversity, the Royal Collection has a fascinating history, and our Learning Section is responsible for sharing its stories with the broadest possible audience in ways that engage, surprise and inspire.

You'll provide exceptional support to the Learning team, helping to deliver our learning programme.

As a key point of contact you'll be involved in all aspects of the programme, handling varied queries relating to the operations of the team and co-ordinating our busy schedule at our London sites.

Assisting at events, arranging the production of 'What's on' guides and helping to prepare interpretive resources, you'll support behind-the-scenes activities to create successful and engaging experiences. You'll focus on adult learning events, but on a wider scale will support other events tailored to a range of different audiences.

You'll also collate feedback, prepare reports and provide vital administration support for the Head of Learning and the wider team.

Collaborating with your coworkers at different locations, you'll bring various components together to ensure consistency across our sites and help the promotion of our Learning Programme.

From creating content for online audiences to streamlining our set up process for events, you'll grow your skills and experience as you become immersed in the world of learning.

Educated to degree level with substantial administrative experience, ideally within a Learning environment in the cultural sector, you're exactly who we're looking for.

And it's your pro-active attitude and excellent organisational skills that will make you stand out from the crowd.

You work well independently; you're able to prioritise a varied workload, and you thrive when there are tight deadlines to meet. And with a keen eye for detail, you're confident administering budgets and you'll always deliver with faultless accuracy.

A confident and professional communicator, you'll enjoy building relationships with a wide range of internal colleagues and external people alike.

What's more, you're a real team player, and can work flexibly in order to support your colleagues.

With good written and analytical skills, you'll be comfortable drafting everything from promotional content for audiences to supplier contracts and reports.

Above all you'll be keen to develop a career in Learning and interpretation, and will be passionate about delivering an outstanding experience for all.
