The Master of the Household's Department handles all aspects of hospitality across the Royal residences.

Joining our small and dedicated Palace Attendants team, you'll play an important role in making sure every event has a smooth set-up.

Whether you're setting up for a department meeting, or arranging the state rooms for thousands of visitors, you'll liaise with colleagues across the organisation to deliver a seamless operations service.

Teamwork is at the core of all you do, and collectively your team will be be relied upon for the safe movement of furniture, collection items and equipment.

Also on hand to assist the wider hospitality team with their delivery, you'll be guided and supported to achieve the highest standards in all that you do.

Previous experience is not necessary for this role as training will be provided, but you will be interested in working as part of a professional hospitality operation.

Most important is that you're an outstanding team player who enjoys working alongside others every day. This, along with a helpful and supportive attitude, will be key.

Friendly, outgoing and professional, you'll be confident communicating and working effectively with all kinds of people.

Good time-keeping and planning skills will be important, and you can be relied upon to manage a daily workload to meet regular deadlines.

And with a pro-active and a flexible approach to your work, you'll be happy to get involved and adapt in order to help colleagues across the organisation.

You'll also have a good attention to accuracy and detail, and get satisfaction from a job well done, delivering work to a consistently high standard.
