40 hours per week, over 5 days, Monday to Sunday

Situated on the edge of the Home Park, The Windsor Farm Shop is a thriving enterprise supplying a wide range of high quality produce from the Royal Estates and local producers. There is also an on-site coffee shop popular with shoppers and locals alike.

This is an exciting opportunity to develop further your career in butchery.

Working as part of a small team, you will cut, de-bone and prepare meat ready for sale, ensuring cutting and presentation techniques are to the highest standard.

You will assist with the day-to-day running of the butchery, delivering exceptional customer service.

Taking pride in the products on sale, you will make sure food on display is rotated and labelled correctly, ensuring the counters are well stocked and appealing to customers. You will also assist with monthly stock takes and the costing of produce.

From promoting new products to monitoring stock levels, you will grow to understand the customer's needs whilst delivering the highest level of customer service. This is a fantastic opportunity to build upon your Butchery skills and knowledge, assisting with the smooth running of this prestigious butchery.

With previous experience as a Butcher in a similar environment, you'll already have a good working knowledge of the trade.

You'll ideally possess, or be studying towards, an NVQ qualification in Butchery, and will be keen to develop your skills.

With previous retail experience, you'll enjoy interacting with our wide range of customers and providing the highest level of customer service.

Comfortable with the principles of stock control and rotation, and with real attention to detail, you'll seek to achieve the highest standards of butchery and food presentation.

You will hold at least a basic level of food hygiene certificate.

With your proactive approach and excellent communication skills, you're able to build positive working relationships within a busy and supportive team environment.
