For centuries, Windsor Castle has opened its doors every summer to welcome thousands of visitors from around the world. By joining our exceptional Retail and Admissions team, you will play a pivotal part in creating an extraordinary experience.

As a Retail and Admissions Assistant, you’ll use your customer service skills to engage with and serve visitors and promote the products we have on offer. After training you’ll have the skills to excel in your position, helping your team reach sales targets in support of our aims.

About you 

• Greet customers with a personalised touch, offering informed advice about our exquisite range of products.
• Collaborate with your team to achieve sales targets.
• Maintain a consistently friendly and professional demeanour, ensuring every customer receives excellent service.
• Efficiently replenish stock on the shop floor, contributing to a seamless shopping experience.
• Answering customer questions and informing them of other experiences and opportunities we offer.

What You'll Bring:

• A naturally friendly, welcoming and professional attitude.
• Motivation and drive to reach targets.
• Proven team player, able to work flexibly and adapt to a variety of tasks.
• Good numeracy and computer literacy skills.
• The ability to work on your feet for much of the day.
• Customer service/sales experience is desired but not essential.

Additional Information:

• Contract and hours: we have two possible contract start dates: 14 May 2024 and 18 June 2024, with both contracts running until 29 September 2024.
• This is a part-time contract. You will be guaranteed to work a minimum of 340 hours for the duration of the contract. You will typically work 28 hours per week and be rostered to work 4 days, Thursday through to Monday, with your rest days being Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and one other day in the week.
