It's bringing future generations closer to a fascinating past

It’s becoming part of something special. And it’s the satisfaction of interpreting and presenting one of the world’s greatest art collections. This is what makes working for Royal Collection Trust so different.

The Royal Collection has a uniquely rich and engrossing history. Working closely with the Learning Manager and Assistant Learning Curator, your challenge will be to make sure that its stories are told in ways that engage, surprise and inspire families.

You'll coordinate the delivery of our Family Learning programme, focusing on collection exhibitions at The Queen's Gallery, Royal Mews and Buckingham Palace.

Be it art workshops, handling sessions or storytelling, you'll ensure that every learning event is a success.

You'll also lead on the interpretation of our Learning spaces and events, as well as interpretive resources, and on-demand facilities.

You'll research and develop varied activities, and identify new opportunities to develop family sessions, ensuring our programmes inspire people of all ages.

And in everything you do, you'll seek new ways to bring the splendour of the Royal Collection alive.

With previous experience in a Learning capacity within a museum, gallery or heritage environment, and a real interest in the collection, you're exactly who we're looking for.

With your creativity and innovative approach, you're able to develop immersive learning programmes and resources for family audiences.

And as an excellent communicator, you enjoy engaging with a range of people, including children and families, and external partners and colleagues.

Organised and detail focused, yet with a flexible approach, you thrive in a busy environment and have confidence leading a team to deliver activities to tight deadlines.

Above all, you have a passion for imparting and making specialist knowledge accessible to family visitors.

This is your opportunity to use your ability to inspire curiosity and your enthusiasm to deliver the exceptional.

In return you will be rewarded with a comprehensive benefits package, including 33 days holiday (inclusive of Bank Holidays), a 15% employer contribution pension scheme (with the option for flexibility - to increase contributions or draw down as salary), lunch provided, with training and development, as well as a range of recreational facilities.
