It's developing skills that will help shape our future

It's becoming part of something special. And it's joining the professional business behind the monarchy. This is what it feels like to work for the Royal Household.

As you would expect from an accredited Investor in People, our learning and development offer is exceptional and is consistently praised by our employees.

As part of a small but dynamic and people-centric team, you'll report to the Head of L&D, helping to shape our strategy whilst managing the day-to-day function.

Digitally enabled learning is at the very forefront of our approach. You'll play a pivotal role in helping to shape and expand this. With passion and expertise, you'll support the design and implementation of a new LMS, as well as designing and delivering e-learning content for a range of development needs.

And although our core learning and leadership development programmes are well established, there is always room for improvement.

You'll work across the organisation to oversee "top down" and "bottom up" training needs analysis, design and deliver individual and team interventions, ensure participation through a blended approach, commission delivery partners and evaluate solutions.

And as you support others, you'll have exceptional opportunities to grow your own career. We don't stand still here; and your ideas will make an impact at the heart of our world-famous institution.

Although ideally educated to degree level, and with a relevant professional qualification, it's your well rounded experience of L&D within a similar role and up-to-date knowledge of current L&D thinking that we're most interested in.

With experience of the full learning cycle, including management and leadership development, you'll have the skills to deliver a range of programmes as well as working with third parties.

Digitally fluent and with experience of online learning platforms and learning systems, you'll have the creativity and technical expertise to help achieve our digital ambitions.

A natural communicator and collaborator, you'll be able to hit the ground running, building credibility at all levels.

A capable people manager and coach, you're able to lead, develop and inspire an ambitious team.

Organised, pro-active and with lots of initiative, you'll know how to juggle a varied workload, effectively balancing strategic and operational priorities. Project management experience would also be of real benefit.

An internal customer champion, with agility and resourcefulness, you'll look to continually review and improve the delivery of L&D services.
