It's conserving the past, while developing its future

The size, complexity and heritage of the Royal estate will present you with some truly fascinating, and often unique, challenges.

Joining our professional and skilled in-house team, you'll act as the key interface between your internal clients, property section colleagues and the supply team, for a portfolio of major projects across the Royal estates in London and Windsor.

Every day, like every project, will be different. Responsible for end-to-end delivery, from set-up and design through to project review, you'll ensure all activities are managed to improve efficiency, quality and value.

Financial control, compliance and risk management will also be critical. And with experience of best practice governance and process management, you'll ensure every project is delivered on time and to the same exceptional standards. With a varied portfolio of large scale projects running concurrently, you'll co-ordinate each one, having considerable impact across the estate.

You'll also be responsible for the appointment and day-to-day management of consultants and contractors, delivering quality work with a customer focus.

As the main point of contact for the project, you'll ensure all stakeholders are engaged and up-to-dated on progress.

The deadlines will be demanding, but you'll stretch yourself to meet them. After all, the results of your contribution will leave a legacy for years to come.

Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline, and with considerable experience of property project management within historic occupied buildings, you're exactly who we're looking for.

You'll be confident managing all aspects of a project's timeline, from tender and budget, through to risk, compliance and contractor management.

You're also highly organised, able to manage a varied portfolio of large-scale projects effectively. And as a logical problem solver, you're used to making decisions and remaining level headed, even when the pressure is on.

Your outstanding communication skills are vital, as you'll be working alongside a wide variety of people, both internally and externally.

As a strategic thinker with a customer focused approach, you'll already know the importance of building effective relationships that will help the organisation move forward.

With an eye for detail, and command of relevant IT programs, you'll be confident maintaining accurate and timely records.

With a team focus and naturally collaborative attitude to work, you'll adapt to meet any challenge that comes your way, delivering to the highest standards every time.

In return you will be rewarded with a comprehensive benefits package, including 33 days holiday (inclusive of Bank Holidays), a 15% employer contribution pension scheme (with the option for flexibility - to increase contributions or draw down as salary), lunch provided, with training and development, as well as a range of recreational facilities.
