It's sharing online the stories behind amazing works of art

It's feeling proud of the part you play. And it's the satisfaction of maintaining and caring for one of the world's largest collections. This is what makes working for Royal Collection Trust so different.

Our Prints and Drawings team are responsible for a world-class collection of over 150,000 drawings, watercolours and prints, dating from 1450 to the present day.

Working on an exciting ongoing project, your challenge will be to enhance the online records for our unparalleled collection of historic royal portrait prints from across Europe. Our ambition is to make the whole of this internationally important collection accessible to the public through our website.

Using our existing Collections Management System, you'll edit and update object records for visitors to our website to enjoy.

You'll closely examine each print, creating accurate and comprehensive CMS records. You'll also assist with new digital photography, working with colleagues to plan and prepare photography sessions so that the best possible images are used online.

Supporting and collaborating with a range of teams, you'll continuously look for ways to improve the online collection visitor experience.

And immersing yourself in this magnificent collection will inspire you every day.

Degree educated, with a broad knowledge of British and European history and experience of collections management databases, you're the budding expert we need.

As an excellent communicator and team player, you'll enjoy working with colleagues and researchers to achieve high standards of presentation to the public. You're also able to motivate yourself and maintain concentration, even when it comes to repetitive tasks.

With great IT skills, accuracy and a real eye for detail, you'll be eager to present the collection to internal and external audiences.

Some familiarity with print techniques and processes would also prove valuable.

Above all, you'll understand the challenges of cataloguing a large collection, and be eager to take on these challenges with enthusiasm.

This is your opportunity to combine your knowledge and passion for prints to deliver the exceptional.
