It's protecting the past as well as the present.

It’s helping to enable a unique organisation. And it's being trusted to deliver. This is what makes working for the Royal Household exceptional.

The Information Assurance team ensures the Royal Household's information is securely and correctly maintained.

As part of this small, professional team you'll take on the challenge of managing the confidentiality, integrity and availability of various types of information, from the Royal Archives to the latest IT systems.

You'll take charge of managing information risk, while guaranteeing compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation and the new UK Data Protection Bill. You'll strive to assure that best practice and high security standards are maintained across the Household.

You'll train and guide employees on information security, embedding a positive culture where colleagues across the organisation understand and are engaged with key principles.

And as a trusted advisor, you'll provide advice and proactively support staff, bringing your expertise to large scale projects across the organisation.

But that's not all. In an environment that is constantly evolving, you'll look to the future, identifying and developing information security improvements, and actively helping shape our future approach and improve our efficiencies.

The variety of queries to come your way will be truly unique, and will stretch you. But you'll be driven by knowing that your hard work will underpin operations across the Household.

Educated to degree level with related experience, and eager to take the next step in your career, you're exactly who we're looking for.

A qualification in information security, cyber security, records management, risk management or business strategy will stand you in good stead.

Along with your knowledge of best practice in managing information security and IT risk, and experience of ITIL and ISO27001 processes, you'll be an asset to the team.

While a basic understanding of technical cyber security would be an advantage, above all it's your questioning and analytical mind that will ensure your success.

With a flexible approach, you're just as confident adapting to advancements, as you are in leading them. Innovative and constantly seeking to improve, you are never satisfied with second best.

A natural collaborator, you'll combine your communication and influencing skills, with your technical expertise, to become a truly trusted advisor to the organisation.

Working at your best in a team, you're able to form effective working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders to achieve a shared unique purpose.

This is your opportunity to use your professional expertise to deliver the exceptional.
