Our Digital Services team provide technology solutions to a diverse user base of more than 1800 users across 24 locations in a complex IT environment. We’re currently transforming aspects of our services to update and simplify our operating model and enhance the end user experience. By joining the team you’ll play a critical role in this comprehensive and progressive programme of work.

And like your portfolio, the buildings you’ll work in will be wide-ranging: from castles and houses to retail outlets and state-of-the-art conservation facilities.

Performing a wide variety of complex analytical, design, planning, implementation, and problem-solving tasks, you’ll help to develop and support our cloud services, systems infrastructure, telecommunications and network infrastructure.

Here are some of the things you can expect:

  • 2nd/3rd line support for incidents, requests, problems, and changes by providing specialist technical expertise. Assist other team members in the provision of first-class services. 
  • Consumer and user focused, you’ll prioritise, diagnose, investigate causes, and resolve incidents delivering excellent outcomes.
  • Maintain and develop cybersecurity and business continuity standards ensuring we’re protected from existing and emerging threats.
  • Continually evaluate, review and advise on current technologies in all areas of IT and infrastructure to ensure our services remain reliable.
  • Plan and deliver a range of improvement projects, developing our systems and process, and ironing out inefficiencies for the benefit of everyone.

You’re an expert in your field, with a deep technical understanding in virtualisation, backup and restore, Microsoft 365, Exchange, Windows, MDM, Microsoft SQL, PKI, server hardware. You'll have a significant experience with Azure IaaS, Azure Active Directory, Intune, M365, (on-prem) Active Directory. You’ll also have an understanding and active working knowledge of ITIL and experience of supporting digital services team delivery.

Ideally, you’ll also hold certification in Microsoft Associate, Expert or Speciality, but it’ll be your strong working knowledge of service management and best practice security standards which will stand out.

Your logical and innovative problem solving will be key, and you’ll be able to troubleshoot and deliver pragmatic solutions to resolve technical issues, whilst maintaining operational infrastructure.

Highly organised and with excellent time management skills, you’ll be able to systematically manage multiple priorities to meet varied needs and deadlines whilst remaining level-headed in pressured scenarios.

With a collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills, you'll be confident building strong working relationships with a variety of people across the organisation. And you’ll enjoy working as part of a wider team of specialists to deliver exceptional results.
