Summer Ticket Sales and Information Assistant (Buckingham Palace 2023)

Since 1993, every summer the doors of Buckingham Palace's glorious State Rooms have been opened to the public for hundreds of thousands of people come to visit. Joining our outstanding and  friendly Ticket Sales and Information team, you'll be a vital part of each visitor’s experience.  

We look forward to welcoming visitors again in 2023 and in the year of The King's coronation, you’ll have the opportunity to join the team who help millions enjoy the State Rooms at Buckingham Palace.

As a Ticket Sales and Information Assistant, you’ll engage with our customers both face-to-face and on the telephone to ensure they have everything they need for the perfect visit. You'll receive full training so that you gain the skills to excel in your position and enjoy a fulfilling summer.

What you’ll be doing:

• Process sales via telephone, online and in person.
• Use an array of computer systems to sell and advise.
• Provide excellent customer service, always maintaining a friendly and professional service.
• Upsell to our customers on items such as gift aid and souvenir guides.

What you’ll bring:

• A friendly and professional attitude, both in person and on the telephone
• Good numeracy and computer literacy
• Excellent team player, able to step in where needed
• Customer service/sales experience (desired but not essential)

What we offer:

• £11.95 per hour
• Free sandwich lunch
• Full training offered prior to opening to the public (included in the contract dates).
• Uniform provided

• Requests for part-time contracts will be considered
