It's learning something new while surrounded by masterpiece paintings.

It’s working as one to deliver impressive projects. And it’s the satisfaction of presenting and sharing one of the world’s greatest and most diverse art collections. This is what makes working for Royal Collection Trust so different.

From care and conservation to public lectures and exhibitions, our Paintings team is responsible for an unparalleled collection of nearly 8,000 paintings and 3,000 miniatures.

You'll support the team with a wide range of curatorial activities, including researching the paintings and assisting with their presentation through a range of media channels.

You'll also assist in the administration of exhibitions and help with the cataloguing of material, helping us share this magnificent collection as widely as possible.

You'll play a key part in planning picture moves relating to the loans and exhibitions programme across numerous Royal residences.

Ensuring online records are accurate and up to date, you'll administer a digital database of paintings substitutions, providing vital administrative support to the team.

What's more, you'll liaise with teams across Royal Collection Trust on activities relating to our exciting exhibition programme, and deliver talks and tours that aim to reach, inspire and engage with the broadest audience possible.

And by bringing people closer to a truly unique history you will be inspired every day.

With a relevant degree and experience of working in a museum or art gallery, you'll be an asset to our team.

With previous project experience and strong administration skills, you'll be able to plan and deliver projects alongside a daily workload and tight deadlines.

You'll also have an understanding of conservation issues and the challenges of working with historic interiors.

An effective communicator, with excellent written and verbal communication skills, you'll enjoy collaborating with team members and colleagues who are specialists in their own field.

As a natural organiser with lots of initiative, you'll have strong IT skills and your attention to detail will be second to none.

You're confident preparing talks, presentations and displays, and you'll be eager to share your knowledge with varied audiences.

Above all, you're eager to immerse yourself in the unique learning opportunities that the Collection presents.
