It's supporting the delivery of events for thousands to enjoy

It's the sheer variety of the challenges you'll face. And it's providing extraordinary support in incredible surroundings. This is what makes a career at the Royal Household so exceptional.

Joining the team responsible for all hospitality, catering and housekeeping operations across the Royal Residences, you'll take on a role of unique variety.

The Master of the Household has a wide ranging remit. As well as being Head of Department, he is a key Board Member and leads our corporate approach to diversity and inclusion, employee wellbeing and Investors in People. In addition, he is principal lead for the Buckingham Palace Reservicing Programme.

Working at the heart of this unique organisation, you'll therefore provide comprehensive EA and business support. No two days will be the same. You'll prioritise tasks in a fast paced environment, managing multiple requests, ever changing diaries, meetings and appointments, alongside travel arrangements, preparing documents and reports, and   co-ordinating board meetings.

Supporting the wider Master's team, in particular by providing PA support to the Director of Operations, you'll support the delivery of a busy and complex annual programme and will be involved in some unique events. You'll liaise daily at a senior level, building relationships with colleagues and external organisations.

Deadlines will often be demanding and the sheer range of requests will stretch you. Yet, you'll rise to the challenge and deliver faultless accuracy in all that you do.

As an experienced EA at Board level, you take pride in delivering to the highest standards.

With superb interpersonal and communication skills, you'll be at ease working as part of a team, and can liaise with people at all levels.

With initiative and a confident approach, you'll work quickly and efficiently with minimal direction, remaining calm and organised even when under pressure.

Having had experience of complex diary management, you'll be capable of pre-empting situations, and be confident to make informed decisions on the back of this.

Confident using a range of IT packages, and with excellent drafting skills and attention to detail, you'll be capable of producing a range of papers, presentations, correspondence and reports.

Some knowledge of formal event protocols would be beneficial, but most important is your proactive approach and commitment to achieving collaborative results.

This is your opportunity to deliver the exceptional.
