It's the satisfaction of helping deliver an impressive service

It’s feeling proud of your contribution, and it’s working with a shared and unique purpose. This is what makes working for the Royal Household so different.

In this role, you’ll join a committed Kitchen team who prepare and serve food to the very highest standards.

You’ll maintain the kitchen environment to ensure our chefs have all they need to deliver meals throughout the day. You’ll clean equipment, surface tops, floors, bins, boilers, bratt pans and utensils ready for use, as well as operating a dish washing machine and assist when required with basic Vegetable preparation.

The fast-paced environment will be challenging, but you’ll value being part of a professional catering team.

And working at other Royal residences throughout the year, you’ll provide an excellent service every day.

Experience in a similar role would be an advantage, however this isn’t necessary, as our training will provide you with all the skills you need.

What’s more important is that you enjoy working in a team. You’re happy to get involved, use initiative and work with your colleagues to achieve a smooth daily service.

You take care and pride in your work, and so aim to deliver great results in all that you do. A good understanding of food hygiene and safety would also be beneficial, but it’s not necessary as we’ll organise training for you.

Above all, you're keen to develop your skills and gain experience within an exceptional team environment.

Ongoing investment in your personal development is encouraged with access to internal and external qualifications.
