Our outstanding Visitor Services team help hundreds of thousands of visitors, from around the world, to enjoy magnificent buildings and works of art at The Queen's Gallery, The Royal Mews, and when Buckingham Palace opens its doors in August and September.

Helping to lead the front line team, you'll make sure they are ready to meet the day's demands, offering a warm welcome to every visitor who comes through the door. Every day, you'll engage them in briefings, co-ordinate roles and be the first port of call for any queries.

You'll train, motivate and guide your team, monitor their progress and support ongoing personal development, inspiring them to deliver their very best. You'll also oversee the day-to-day operations at our various sites, including visitor route access, security and presentation, as well as helping to organise special events and tours.

It's a busy environment and no two days will be the same. But whether you're running through opening checks ahead of a busy day, or recruiting new talent for your team, you'll be the driving force behind a truly memorable visitor experience.

Friendly, outgoing and professional, with the ability to motivate a team to deliver excellent visitor service, you’ll fit right in.

You'll already have some experience managing a team, preferably in a customer-facing environment.

You're an outstanding team player who is confident communicating with all kinds of people and enjoys getting the best out of them.

Cool and calm under pressure, you can be relied upon to work flexibly and effectively even when things get busy.

Along with an organised approach, and excellent IT skills, you'll be able to manage and adapt to a varied workload, both in the office and on the visitor route.

Above all, you know what it takes to create the kind of customer experience that leaves a lasting and positive impression.
