Joining the Royal Mews, Windsor Castle, you’ll assist in preparing horses and ponies for riding.

You’ll be part of a dedicated team responsible for all aspects of horse and pony care, including daily feeds and exercise, as well as occasionally training young horses in preparation for their ceremonial career.

From mucking out stables to cleaning saddlery and harnesses, you'll help to ensure the Royal Mews is kept in the very best condition and that all equipment is fit for purpose.

You’ll aim for the highest standards which will provide the greatest reward.

As part of this role you will on occasion travel and work at other residences.

A highly capable and confident rider, you have significant experience working with young horses.

Possession of a recognised equine qualification (e.g. BHS, BDS, NVQ, Equine Diploma or equivalent) would also be desirable.

You’re an outstanding team player with a passion for horses and proficient in all aspects of stable management.

You will also have a flexible, proactive and productive approach to your work.
