It's working as a team to achieve exceptional results

It’s the community spirit, and it’s collaborating to deliver the highest standards. This is what makes working for the Royal Household so different.

Joining our committed team, you’ll work as part of the wash up service to ensure our chefs and staff catering team have all they need to deliver meals throughout the day.

Maintaining a clean and hygienic working environment, your role will help to ensure a smooth and efficient service.

And whether you're based at Buckingham Palace or, when required, travelling to another Royal residence, you'll look forward to whatever challenge comes your way.

Our training will provide you with all the skills you need, and so experience isn’t essential.

More important is that you’re a natural team player, happy to get involved, use initiative and work with your colleagues to achieve a smooth daily service.

You clearly take care and pride in your work, and so aim to deliver great results in all that you do.

A good understanding of food hygiene and safety would be beneficial, but it's not necessary, as we'll organise training for you.

Above all, you're keen to develop your skills and gain experience in an exceptional catering environment.

This role will be based in London, and will involve travelling to other Royal residences. In return you can look forward to working in a unique and stimulating work environment, and be rewarded with a comprehensive benefits package, including 33 days holiday (inclusive of Bank Holidays), a 15% employer contribution pension scheme (with the option for flexibility - to increase contributions or draw down as salary) and meals on duty. The role also offers the option to live-in (for which there is a salary adjustment). Training and development is encouraged and you will have access to a range of recreational facilities.
