It’s knowing you’re the reason our exhibitions are attracting the crowds in Scotland.

It’s taking every opportunity to develop local audiences. And it’s the satisfaction of presenting and promoting one of the world’s greatest and most diverse art collections. This is what makes working for Royal Collection Trust so different.

Based at the Palace of Holyroodhouse, your role is to encourage hundreds of thousands of people from around the world to visit the home of Scottish Royal history. Working closely with our Marketing and Press teams in London, you'll grow our business with the Scottish travel and tourism industry, and raise our profile with arts audiences.

Identifying our fastest growing markets, you'll use your contacts and expertise to grow our travel trade business even further. You'll develop and manage new marketing and sales partnerships with major industry players, whilst ensuring existing relationships are nurtured and maximised.

But that’s only half the story. With oversight of consumer marketing, you'll manage multiple campaigns to promote the Palace, our exhibitions and events programme to the public. And as the on-site point of contact for our Press team, you'll oversee the smooth-running of media facilities.

In this uniquely varied role, no two days will be the same. Juggling marketing, sales, PR and partnership projects will be as challenging as it is rewarding.

And while you're representing Royal Collection Trust in Scotland, you're promoting centuries of royal history to a worldwide audience.

Educated to degree level and with proven sales and consumer-marketing experience, ideally in the Scottish cultural heritage sector, you're just the professional we're looking for.

You've also worked with travel industry businesses before and you're confident managing projects involving a range of people.

Collaboration is key, and, as a natural communicator, you're skilled at developing networks and working relationships that last, and you'll know how to represent us with credibility.

Highly organised, flexible in approach and with lots of initiative, you're adept at managing a varied workload to tight deadlines.

With a keen interest in the arts and history, great written skills and an eye for detail, you create effective marketing materials, on and off line.

And above all, you really understand consumer markets and you know what it takes to develop successful partnerships.

This is your opportunity to use your passion for tourism and marketing skills to deliver the exceptional.
