It's ensuring the cloth matches the magnificence of the banqueting table.

It's the satisfaction in delivering outstanding work. And it’s running some of the most famous houses in the world. This is what makes working for the Royal Household exceptional.

Joining our Buckingham Palace team, you'll work, and live, in stunning historic settings.

Responsible for the Linen Room, you'll supervise a small team to ensure all linen requirements are met to the highest standards every day.

You'll provide linen for a range of functions and events, as well as for day-to-day domestic and office use. You'll clean and prepare all types of linen, making sure every item is presented to its very best.

With oversight of linen room operations, you'll maintain inventory records, manage invoices and equipment.

Much of the linen is historic and irreplaceable, and so you'll repair and conserve these unique items to ensure they are available for use by future generations. On occasion, you'll also support the wider department with events, working front-of-house to ensure guests are welcomed and provided with an exceptional experience.

And, in an environment where development and training is commonplace, you’ll find opportunities to grow your skills and experience.

You'll already have experience supervising a linen room, preferably in a hospitality environment, and will be looking to grow your expertise and knowledge.

You clearly take care in your work, and your close attention to detail means that you are able to deliver results to be proud of.

It's a busy environment, but with good time management skills, you're able to meet the demanding deadlines.

You're an excellent communicator, confident in engaging and working with all kinds of people, both internal and external.

And with a positive approach, you'll be eager to get involved in and motivate the wider team with a range of duties.

This is your opportunity to use your supervisory skills and enthusiasm to deliver the exceptional.

In return you will be rewarded with a comprehensive benefits package, including 33 days holiday (inclusive of Bank Holidays), a 15% employer contribution pension scheme (with the option for flexibility - to increase contributions or draw down as salary), accommodation, meals provided, training and development opportunities and a range of recreational facilities.
