It's developing our systems so every user has an exceptional experience

It's becoming part of something special, and it's helping millions enjoy magnificent buildings and works of art. This is what makes working for Royal Collection Trust so different.

People from all over the world come to visit Buckingham Palace, The Royal Mews, Windsor Castle and the Palace of Holyroodhouse. Our Online Infrastructure team play a vital part in the visitor experience, enabling over two million tickets to be sold each year.

Joining our friendly and dedicated team, you'll be responsible for the configuration and development of the ticketing system.

You'll be the main point of contact for technical queries relating to our systems, and associated software. You'll diagnose faults and decide how best to resolve each problem, providing an efficient and helpful service to colleagues and ensuring our systems are fully operational at all times.

Technical support is only half the story. Whilst you help maintain our systems, you'll constantly be looking for new ways to improve our service delivery. You'll support multiple projects that will develop and enhance our ticketing platform infrastructure.

Whether you're assisting with user acceptance or exploring hosting options, both your day-to-day and development work will stretch your technical ability.

And knowing that you're playing a part in helping people enjoy a magnificent collection will inspire and motivate you.

Digitally fluent, with experience of providing technical support to a multi-site team and an understanding of ticketing systems, you'll hit the ground running.

Analytical and determined, with a strong eye for detail, you enjoy solving problems and identifying system improvements. A working understanding of different coding languages is important too.

A self-organised, 'can-do' approach is essential for this role. With initiative and good judgement you're able to work independently, managing a varied workload in a fast-paced and busy environment.

An effective communicator at your best working as part of a team, you can build collaborative relationships with a range of people.

This is your opportunity to use your IT skills to deliver an exceptional service.

In return you will be rewarded with a comprehensive benefits package, including 33 days holiday (inclusive of Bank Holidays), a 15% employer contribution pension scheme (with the option for flexibility - to increase contributions or draw down as salary), lunch provided, with training and development, as well as a range of recreational facilities.
