It's supporting the team who will preserve the palace for future generations

Buckingham Palace is one of the most iconic buildings in the world. A ten-year programme of work is now underway to update the Palace's electrical cabling, plumbing and heating for the first time since the 1950's, protecting the future of this historic building.

You'll join the dedicated in-house Programme Management Office (PMO) in a new role during the early stages of this programme.

You'll provide a wide range of administrative assistance to the Reservicing team. Co-ordinating daily activities, diaries and meetings, you'll be integral to the smooth running of operations.

As a central point of contact within the team you'll find no two days will be the same, liaising with both internal and external colleagues to handle varied queries.

You'll also gain insight into a whole range of activities, helping with logistics as well as managing databases.

In a fast-paced team, you'll have the opportunity to take on new challenges that will stretch and grow your skills. And in all you do, you'll be making a key contribution to this busy department.

You'll already have some experience in a relevant role, and with excellent administrative skills you'll be an asset to the team.

Efficient and well organised, you're confident handling different priorities and multiple deadlines effectively. Accuracy and attention to detail will also be key to the role.

And with versatile IT skills, you'll be familiar using Microsoft Office tools to help manage a busy workload, and you'll be able to quickly grasp bespoke applications.

Beyond your technical skills, excellent communication skills will prove vital, as you’ll be working with a range of different people, from contractors to directors.

At your best working in a team, you're able to work flexibly and with initiative to support your colleagues.

Above all, you'll have a proactive approach and will be eager to take advantage of the learning opportunities that the Household presents.

This is your opportunity to use your experience to deliver the exceptional.

In return you will be rewarded with a comprehensive benefits package, a 15% employer contribution pension scheme (with the option for flexibility - to increase contributions or draw down as salary), with training and development, as well as a range of catering and recreational facilities.
