It’s supporting the team who conserve history for future generations

It's knowing your work matters more and it's contributing to the care of one of the world's greatest collections. This is what makes working for Royal Collection Trust different.

The Paintings team of Royal Collection Trust is responsible for the restoration, conservation and presentation of an unparalleled collection of nearly 8,000 paintings and 3,000 miniatures.

Working as part of the Picture Conservation section in a new role, you'll play an integral part in the daily running of the studios.

Be it managing correspondence and queries, arranging key maintenance schedules, or assisting with the procurement of goods and services, you'll provide wide-ranging and exceptional administrative support.

You'll help prepare reports and assist with arranging the movement of artworks to support our busy programme of loans and exhibitions.

And as a key point of contact, you'll be relied upon as a source of information, liaising with and helping internal colleagues and external people alike.

You'll also assist with records management and maintaining databases, ensuring conservation treatments are accurately recorded which, in turn, will help enable the team to tap into centuries of history.

Responding to a wide variety of queries in a timely manner will be a challenge, but you'll deliver an outstanding service every time.

And as you support others, you'll have real opportunities to develop your existing administrative skills in extraordinary surroundings.

As an experienced administrator, with exceptional organisation and time management skills, you're exactly who we’re looking for.

Proactive, with lots of initiative, you'll be confident juggling a varied workload, effectively balancing priorities and deadlines.

Excellent communication skills will be important, and you'll be confident liaising and building relationships with a wide range of people.

You'll also have good writing skills, and are comfortable adapting your writing style to draft content for a variety of platforms.

With capable IT skills, you'll quickly learn to use a variety of IT programs.

And possessing a keen eye for detail, you'll always deliver work with faultless accuracy.

With a proactive and flexible approach you're a real team player, and will enjoy working alongside your talented colleagues to achieve results.

This is your opportunity to use your administration skills to deliver the exceptional.
