It’s the satisfaction of opening a newly printed book

It's taking every opportunity to make your mark. And it’s the satisfaction of presenting and promoting one of the world’s greatest art collections. This is what makes working for Royal Collection Trust so different.

Unique in both quality and diversity, the Royal Collection has a fascinating history, and our Publishing Section is responsible for promoting its stories through thought-provoking, beautifully designed books and publications.

Your challenge will be to deliver our busy and varied commercial publishing programme.

You'll be involved in all aspects of each publication, from developing content and production through to distribution and marketing.

A source of expert advice, you'll manage cross-platform projects, ensuring print and digital media is aligned, delivered to time and budget.

No two days will be the same. You'll manage a variety of authors and contributors and oversee the copywriting and proof-reading of materials, as well as making sure that all content is accessible and relevant, and in line with our rigorous editorial standards.

You'll also collaborate and build strong relationships with teams across Royal Collection Trust to ensure all material is accurate and in line with our brand.

Exploring future sales and promotional opportunities, you'll enhance our presence through online and social media channels and identify brand new avenues for us.

Making sure every publication is delivered to the very best quality will challenge and inspire you. And in all you do you'll look to inspire greater awareness of everything Royal Collection Trust has to offer.

With a relevant degree, you'll already have significant experience in publishing and digital media, and commissioning freelance editors, designers and developers, ideally within a Museum or Heritage sector.

Experienced in project management, and with excellent organisational skills, you'll be in your element working on several different projects at the same time and delivering to tight deadlines and within budget.

You're a strong and assured communicator and able to build effective working relationships with both internal and external colleagues.

With a meticulous eye for detail and exceptional written communication skills, you are confident copy-editing and proofreading high-end illustrated content, and always aim for complete accuracy in all that you do.

You'll also be IT savvy, confident using a range of Microsoft applications and ideally Photoshop and In-Design. And you'll be comfortable working with spreadsheets and database systems.

At your best working as part of a team, you have an open and collaborative style and can readily adapt to changing needs.

This is your opportunity to use your passion to share our stories and deliver the exceptional.
