From old master drawings and watercolours to prints, maps and portrait miniatures, the Prints and Drawings section of the Royal Collection has a unique and engrossing history.

Working as part of the Paper Conservation section in a new role, you'll play an integral part in the daily running of the studios. Be it managing correspondence and queries, arranging key maintenance schedules, or assisting with the procurement of goods and services, you'll provide wide-ranging and exceptional administrative support.

You'll help prepare reports and assist with arranging the movement of artworks to support our busy programme of loans and exhibitions.

And as a key point of contact, you'll be relied upon as a source of information, liaising with and helping internal colleagues and external people alike.

You'll also assist with records management and maintaining databases, ensuring conservation treatments are accurately recorded which, in turn, will help enable the team to tap into centuries of history.

Responding to a wide variety of queries in a timely manner will be a challenge, but you'll deliver an outstanding service every time.

As an experienced administrator, with exceptional organisation and time management skills, you're exactly who we’re looking for.

Proactive, with lots of initiative, you'll be confident juggling a varied workload, effectively balancing priorities and deadlines.

Excellent communication skills will be important, and you'll be confident liaising and building relationships with a wide range of people.

You'll also have good writing skills, and are comfortable adapting your writing style to draft content for a variety of platforms.

With capable IT skills, you'll quickly learn to use a variety of IT programs.

And possessing a keen eye for detail, you'll always deliver work with faultless accuracy.
