It's helping to create an outstanding visitor experience

It's the collaboration and community spirit. And it's helping millions enjoy world renowned buildings and beautiful art. This is what makes working for Royal Collection Trust so special.

Our Visitor Services team help hundreds of thousands of visitors from around the world enjoy magnificent buildings and works of art at The Queen's Gallery, The Royal Mews, and the glorious State Rooms at Buckingham Palace.

Joining this enthusiastic and dedicated team, you'll be at the heart of this fast-paced operation. You'll ensure an exceptional visitor experience by providing support across all of our London sites.

You'll help create visitor routes that flow smoothly, and that are safe and secure for both visitors and our team. You'll arrange signage, co-ordinate security clearances and keep track of all route items and equipment, making sure everything is in place for the day's demands.

You'll also provide vital administrative support with invoices and budgets. Liaising with suppliers and contractors and analysing visitor feedback, you'll play an essential role in bringing greater efficiencies to our operations.

Your biggest challenge will come when the doors of Buckingham Palace open to the public each summer, when you'll support the daily management of the site, and oversee our front-line team.

And you'll get involved with recruiting, inducting and training them, growing your own skills along the way.In all that you do, you'll support the team in providing the highest standards of visitor care.

With outstanding administrative skills and accuracy that never falters, you're exactly who we need.

Extremely organised and methodical even when under pressure, you're comfortable dealing with multiple priorities at any one time.

Confidence working with numbers and strong I.T. skills (particularly Excel and Word) are important too, along with a keen eye for detail.

You enjoy communicating with all kinds of people and can work effectively with internal and external colleagues alike.

With lots of initiative and a flexible approach, you're able to work effectively on your own, but also as part of a large and enthusiastic team.

Experience of working in a busy visitor/customer services environment, or with an interest in the museum and heritage industry would be ideal, but is by no means essential.

And, above all, you know what it takes to create the kind of visitor experience that leaves a lasting and positive impression.

This is your opportunity to use your organisation and communication skills to deliver the exceptional.
