Our Ticketing and Sales team sell millions of tickets for Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle and the Palace of Holyroodhouse every year and also for our programme of exhibitions and events. Delivering outstanding service to every customer is at the heart of everything we do.

As Head of Ticketing, you'll be responsible for our ticket sales function across the royal palaces.

You'll oversee both day-to-day delivery and strategic direction. You'll set sales targets, monitor performance standards, and regularly review procedures, continuing to improve our efficiencies and exceed expectations.

We aim to deliver the exceptional every day and it permeates into everything we do. You'll help inspire that by leading the team, encouraging them to collectively deliver a best-in-class experience at every touchpoint for our visitors.

And as part of the Senior Management team, you'll work closely with colleagues at our other sites on the formation of our long term strategy.

Innovative and forward thinking, you'll also work to harness the best of new technologies to expand our visitor engagement and explore new avenues to increase sales.

An expert in your field, you'll have significant experience managing a multi-site and online B2C/B2B ticketing operation, preferably gained within the cultural-heritage sector and including contact-centre management.

A good understanding of ticketing systems and experience of system implementation and upgrades will help ensure you hit the ground running.

With outstanding people leadership qualities, you're able to direct, develop and motivate a team to exceed challenging sales targets, as well as managing change and performance.

And as an intelligent and adaptable communicator, you have a track record of working collaboratively with senior colleagues across the organisation to achieve shared goals.

Being able to balance strategic and operational priorities will be vital in this role, and you'll know when to delve into the detail or when to retain a wider perspective.

Analytical and logical, you've sound judgement and a natural curiosity for interpreting and presenting sales information to influence business decisions.

You're also a creative thinker with an enthusiasm for new technologies, and you'll be keen to push things forward.

And your strong customer focus in all you do will lead the team in delivering results of which to be proud.
