As Retail Manager at Windsor Castle, you'll lead our dedicated Retail team to ensure every customer feels welcomed and valued.
You'll oversee all aspects of the retail operation across multiple on-site shops. Managing stock movements, merchandising and staffing requirements, as well as safety and security, the scope of your role will be wide, with different challenges every day.
You'll look to maximise sales, enhancing shop floor presentations, and ensuring additional retail services are well promoted and adapted for each site.
And you'll need to be on the pulse, acting on current and emerging trends to drive through new initiatives that will keep improving our retail offering at every opportunity.
You'll inspire those around you to deliver their very best and achieve challenging sales targets, making sure they're motivated, guided and supported in their progress and ongoing personal development.
It's a busy environment and no two days will be the same. But whether you're preparing seasonal operations ahead of a busy summer, or recruiting new talent for your team, you'll be the driving force behind a truly memorable customer experience.
You're an experienced people manager, and will be confident recruiting, developing and managing performance for a large team, all of which will be vital for this role.
And having managed retail operations for multi-venue situation already, you're commercially savvy. Most important is that you have sales focus in all you do, and know how to guarantee that service standards remain consistently high.
As a confident communicator you will thrive on working in a team and be at ease maintaining and building relationships with a variety of internal and external colleagues.
Cool and calm under pressure, you can be relied upon to work flexibly and effectively even when deadlines are challenging.
Along with an organised and analytical approach, with excellent numeracy and IT skills, you'll be able to manage and adapt to a varied workload.
