When the doors of Buckingham Palace’s glorious State Rooms are opened to the public each August and September, hundreds of thousands of people come to visit. Our outstanding and friendly team of Retail Assistants welcome them to our shops and retail points.
Supporting the Retail management team, you'll make sure our Retail Assistants are ready to meet the day's demands, and open our customers' eyes to the products we offer.
Every day, you'll engage the team in briefings, answer questions, and inspire them to maximise sales. And in everything you do, you’ll aim for the highest possible levels of customer care and security.
With previous experience in a busy retail environment, you enjoy getting the best out of people, motivating them to deliver both ambitious sales targets and extraordinary customer service.
You have a warm and friendly personality, along with an accurate and detail focused approach to your work. Numeracy and a good level of computer literacy are important too.
Motivated by the achievement of daily targets, you’re also an excellent team player, with the ability to work flexibly and effectively even when things get busy.

Contracts will commence in either late May or late June, and will finish in early October.
