It's bringing future generations closer to a fascinating past

It’s becoming part of something special. And it’s the satisfaction of presenting one of the world’s greatest art collections. This is what makes working for Royal Collection Trust so different.

Unique in both quality and diversity, the Royal Collection has a fascinating history, and our Learning Section is responsible for sharing its stories with the broadest possible audience in ways that engage, surprise and inspire.

Joining our enthusiastic team, you'll help deliver our innovative Schools programme at Windsor Castle.

You'll deliver curriculum-linked learning sessions for primary and secondary stage school groups, including workshops, talks and tours, as well as one-off events throughout the calendar year. You'll prepare accompanying interpretive resources and ensure that every learning event is a success, engaging younger generations with the Collection and historic Castle.

You'll research and develop varied activities, working closely with colleagues across Royal Collection Trust to identify new learning opportunities and enhance school sessions.

You'll also assist with the day-to-day running of our Learning Centre and teaching spaces, and co-ordinate sessions with our external freelancers.

Building strong relationships with teaching organisations and local authorities will be a key part of your role. You'll help promote the programme and extend the reach and diversity of visiting schools, developing your own knowledge along the way.

And with a new Learning Centre on the horizon you'll join us at a truly exciting time, as you'll work as part of the team scaling up our learning provisions.

In everything you do, you'll seek new ways to bring the splendour of the Royal Collection alive.

With previous experience of delivering curriculum-linked learning sessions, ideally within a museum, gallery or heritage environment, and a desire to grow your skills further you're exactly who we're looking for.

With a creative and innovative approach, you're able to develop immersive learning sessions and resources for school audiences.

You're also an engaging and adaptable communicator, confident presenting on a daily basis and able to inspire learners with a variety of learning styles.

It's a fast paced environment, so you'll need to be well organised and able to prioritise well in order to meet tight deadlines.

What's more, you're a real team player, and can work flexibly in order to support your colleagues.

Above all you'll have a real interest in the collection, and a passion for imparting and making specialist knowledge accessible to school children.

This is your opportunity to use your ability to inspire curiosity and proactive attitude to deliver the exceptional.
