Joining our Cyber Security team, you’ll have a vital role in delivering our Cyber Security and Resilience Strategy.

You’ll monitor our network and systems, identify potential security threats and lead on response activities. Carrying out technical investigations, you’ll identify potential risks and impacts, and ensure controls are in place across our hardware and software to keep us cyber secure and resilient.

You’ll regularly review and evaluate our cyber security and response activities and working in close collaboration with the IT and Information Assurance teams, you’ll look to maintain our policies, standards and best practice. 

Reporting to the Chief Information Security Officer, you’ll work together to create a culture of continuous security improvement.

You’ll provide expertise and insight on controls and procedures to minimise cyber incidents and strengthen resilience. And you’ll be relied upon to identify future projects and technologies that will develop our strategy further.

You’ll also be involved in creating and delivering cyber awareness training to employees across the organisation, keeping everyone up-to-date on important security standards.

Educated to degree level or equivalent in a computer related subject, ideally CISSP/CISM certified, you’ll have previous experience in best practice cyber security, and looking for a new environment to develop your career further. 

An expert in IT Risk Management, you’ll have practical experience of delivering strategies.

Analytical in approach, you’ll have a proven ability to understand complex cyber security issues quickly, as well as evidence of developing appropriate solutions which delivered positive results.

With a focus on continuous improvement, you’re proactive about staying up-to-date with industry standards as well as future areas of focus. 

What’s more, you’ll be able to utilise your knowledge alongside other digital innovators to identify and implement business solutions, quickly establishing yourself within the organisation.

With a collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills, you'll be able to provide clear and concise advice to non-technical colleagues and will be confident at building strong working relationships with a variety of people across the Household. 

You're highly organised and agile, able to systematically manage, prioritise and deliver your own workload to meet varied needs and deadlines, balancing day-to-day detail with wider team objectives.
