It's forecasting the figures whilst surrounded by a priceless past.

It's feeling inspired to deliver to the very highest standards. And it's providing the insight and support that takes the business forward. This is what makes working for the Royal Household exceptional.

Our finance team provides shared services to a number of internal client groups. Specifically supporting Royal Collection Trust, you'll ensure the accurate and timely delivery of management and financial information for this unique department, consisting of a charity as well as a thriving commercial enterprise with an annual turnover of c£62m.

Under the guidance of the Finance Manager and experienced colleagues, you'll help to produce monthly and annual management accounts, advising and providing the highest level of internal consultancy to budget holders and users of financial information.

Analysing visitor admission numbers and retail income models for our visitor sites, you'll present key information to budget holders and provide a critical insight into the day-to-day performance of this team.

Deadlines will often be demanding, and the sheer range of requests and queries will stretch you. Yet, in all that you do, you’ll rise to the challenge of producing comprehensive accounts and delivering with faultless accuracy.

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career in Finance within a varied and supportive environment.

With an undergraduate degree or AAT qualification already under your belt, you will be expected and supported to continue your studies and gain a CIMA or ACCA qualification during your time here.

You'll also have a high level of commercial awareness and previous experience of data analysis or statistics, both of which you'll be required to draw upon for this role.

You'll ideally be familiar with financial modelling and have some experience in using Open Accounts or a similar accounting system, but we're most interested in your potential and ambition to develop a career in finance.

You're flexible and accurate under pressure, able to constantly adapt to meet the needs of your customers.

Your ability to effectively plan and organise your workload means you'll be confident handling multiple deadlines on a regular basis.

Your problem-solving skills are outstanding, as is your command of Excel. And you're as good with people as you are with numbers, which is crucial given the client-facing nature of this role.

In return you will be rewarded with a comprehensive benefits package, a 15% employer contribution pension scheme (with the option for flexibility - to increase contributions or draw down as salary), with training and development, as well as a range of catering and recreational facilities.
