It’s inspiring people around the world to discover the Royal Collection

It’s taking every opportunity to get our message across. And it’s the satisfaction of presenting and promoting one of the world’s greatest art collections. This is what makes working for Royal Collection Trust so different.

One of the largest and most important art collections in the world, the Royal Collection has a fascinating history, and our Marketing Section is responsible for promoting its stories and encouraging visitors to the Royal residences to see it on display.

Your challenge will be to manage Royal Collection Trust's relationships with the travel trade, tourism bodies and marketing partners in Scotland, to attract audiences to the Palace of Holyroodhouse and The Queen’s Gallery, Edinburgh.

Identifying and developing strategic partnerships will be key, in order to create new opportunities to promote royal residences, exhibitions and events in support of the marketing strategy.

You will use your business development experience to develop new products and marketing initiatives to meet commercial objectives.

As part on the Marketing Section, you’ll develop creative marketing campaigns, build strong relationships with external marketing agencies, and analyse campaign performance.

Collaborating with teams across Royal Collection Trust, you'll co-ordinate a varied annual campaign timetable and the creation of marketing materials which develop and protect our brand.

Responsible for gathering and analysing critical research, data and insight, you’ll understand our audiences and the Scottish tourism market, and be a source of expert advice.

Educated to degree level or equivalent, you'll already have experience in consumer marketing, business development and working with external agencies and partners.

You're creative with experience of brand management and a good understanding of the digital marketing environment.

A confident communicator, you're able to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders in order to initiate and create new opportunities and partnerships.

With strong analytical skills, you're confident evaluating market research data and the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns.

Organised and pro-active, with lots of initiative you're able to prioritise a busy workload and consistently deliver high quality work, often to tight deadlines.

With an eye for detail, you have exceptional written communication skills, and always aim for perfect accuracy in all that you do.

At your best working as part of a team, you have an open and collaborative style and can readily adapt to changing needs. This is your opportunity to use your creativity and marketing skills to deliver the exceptional.
